TECHNOLOGY

As with all SPI cinemas, Luxe will also provide Real Digital Experience in 4K (RDX-4K). All screens come replete with Barco digital projectors with 4K resolution, the latest in digital technology. Hence the projection brings stunning images in enhanced 4K resolution combined with ultimate brightness capable of delivering 33,000 lumens and vibrant colour-accuracy time after time. All the cinemas are equipped with 3D and IMB (Integrated Media Block).

Luxe Facilities : Amongst a host of features are a mezzanine restaurant that overlooks the grand lobby with a larger than life video pillar, café, gaming zone and spa that will leave you spoilt for choice.

AUTOMATED TICKETING KIOSKS

An entire wall at Luxe's grand entrance is dedicated to providing not only access to ticket purchase and retrieval, but also to informational screens that provide guests valuable information about films and sessions. Screens will be mounted on the wall and will offer guests the ability to browse for information about the property, get information about movies and session times, as well as retrieve tickets that they have booked.

RETAIL STORE

There is space located for a retail store in the main lobby. This concept store will be launched in a few months.

SPA

The spa at Luxe, Bliss, will be operated by the experts at Oryza and provide customers a relaxing private space where they can enjoy reflexology or other wonderful treatments.

RESTAURANT - CAFÉ DE LUXE

Café de Luxe, the restaurant at LUXE is a beautiful space is situated on the mezzanine of the main lobby and features both dining and casual lounge seating. The space is designed as much as a lounge for catching up with friends as it is for having a full service spectacular (spectacular is not a word on associates with food) meal. The menu consists of Indian, Italian and Chinese cuisine and also offers a whole range of signature mocktails that will leave your feeling refreshed.

GAMING

Adjacent to the café is a gaming space. This space is set up for children to enjoy some time playing on some of the new generation gaming consoles while they wait to see their movie, or while their parents enjoy a cup of tea or coffee.

GAMING CAFÉ

LUXE also features a casual café area where guests can get great food and drink and enjoy time with their family and friends. This space is located at the end of the Cinema lobby and is laid back and casual.

On 29th March 2014 The Hindu reports that the Luxe Multiplex has receive Government Clearances and will open shortly.

Multiplex gets nod at Velachery Phoenix mall

SPI Cinemas has received government clearance to launch its multiplex, Luxe, at Phoenix Mall in Velachery, where it has 11 screens.

Though the cinema has received clearance at this moment only for regular screens, SPI Cinemas is also hoping to get clearance to convert one of the screens into IMAX format. The group is currently hiring staff for the multiplex and the launch date is expected to be announced shortly.
