About 83 MPH

83 MPH, A.K.A. 83 Miles Per Hour was formed in the month of January, 2011. They are a Chennai based Hard rock band. The band is inspired by legendary artists such as Aerosmith, Dream Theater, Pink Floyd, Muse, ZZ Top, Porcupine Tree and Grits.

They are a 6 piece band widely known for their versatility with each one having their own signature styles.

Achievements:

* 83 Miles Per Hour has won prestigious competitions like:
- Channel V LaunchPad 2012,
- Hard Rock Calling(Bangalore Zonals),
- RayBan Never Hide Sound 2012.

* 83 Miles Per Hour have opened for Swedish Metal Band called 'Vildhjarta' and French-Canadian rock band, Simple Plan.
Also opened for renowned Indian bands, 'Parikrama' and 'Indus Creed'.

* 83 Miles Per Hour have been featured in magazines like, The Score Magazine, RollingStone India, Pulse72+ and the FHM magazine.
