About Rusty Moe : RUSTY MOE, is a name familiar in the rock circles in and around town. Think Classic Rock and Rusty Moe is the name that comes to ones mind. Yes, the 80's have long gone, so why do we still continue to do stuff that was popular back then? We simply love Classic Rock and we believe that it is probably the best genre of music ever. Not many listen to it these days and to keep it alive, we simply decided to play it. Some of the bands that have heavily influenced us over the years are Whitesnake, Deep Purple, Rainbow, Pink Floyd, Dio, Black Sabbath and many more.
We have known each other since 1997, through college, where we had jammed plenty, played gigs, some good and some terrible but along, our love for Classic Rock remained. So when we saw that the feeling was mutual and that it did survive a decade or more, we decided that the wise thing to do would be to regroup formally and take it forward. Thus Rusty Moe was born.
